In the 2nd inning Dublin went on top for good with 3 runs utilizing 2 base hits. Alex Cintron led off the inning for Dublin when he drew a walk. Juan Rivera was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. Cliff Lee then bounced one in the dirt for a wild pitch. Corey Koskie came up and he drew a walk. Sanders stepped into the box and doubled bringing in two baserunners. Scott Spiezio contributed to the rally and lined a single scoring the final run of the inning. Tampico threatened in the 9th but Dublin was able to put down the rally. Ramon Ortiz(1-1) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Lee(0-1) was tagged with the loss. He was unable to control the Dublin offense and allowed 6 hits and 3 walks in 2 innings. 'Just one or two mistakes were all it took to beat us today' Mike Aldrich said. 'We take these games one day at a time, but this one was hard to take.'
